oh lake powell...

so...believe it or not we actually still exist. life's been a little hectic this summer but i'm happy to be back home and be in our regular routine again. so i have about 10 different blog posts but i've gotta catch up in order. back in june we went to lake powell with my parents. they have a houseboat out there and so we went and played in the water with them. we had a great time and landon LOVED every minute of it.

you'd never guess he has grandchildren.

i love love love this picture of my mom. this is how she looks at landon all the time. she seriously adores him and it makes me happy.

dallin's really great at wake boarding now. seriously, one hand...like he's a pro or something.

my mom and i chatted for hours on end about everything and nothing. most of the way to rainbow bridge we discussed sister wives. needless to say, we had fun :)

"i'm a boat captain!"

super strong uncle dilly

and this is what i get for always being the photographer of our family events...no focused pictures of myself :)

and the trip wouldn't be complete without someone getting hurt. cam fell off the houseboat but honestly i don't know all of the details because dallin was laughing too hard to give us specifics. he had a front row seat to the chaos and still can't tell the story without bursting into laughter. cam did get a major bruise on his leg and cut his elbow open pretty deep.

this is about 2 weeks after the fall...and his leg looked way worse but we didn't get a picture until later.
thanks mom and dad for the fun trip! we had a great time :)

  1. Love the pictures at Rainbow arch. So true. The picture of Landon getting on the boat off the swim step is probably my favorite, tho. Love you.
