cameron's dear cousin, andrea hastings lemmon, passed away suddenly yesterday from a tragic disease that went unknown until it was too far gone to cure. she had a full life ahead of her. she was a beautiful wife to the most loving husband you could ever ask for and an incredible stay-at-home mom to three sweet girls, the youngest of which is landon's age.
death always puts things into perspective. i worry about so many dumb things all the time. currently, i've been stressing about landon's 2nd birthday party and making sure that party favors are just right. yesterday just reminded me that life is short and the only things that truly matter are family and religion. i need to remember this more often.
i just need to do the basics (go to church, read scriptures, say prayers, go to the temple, fhe...) and kiss and hug cameron and landon all day.
we will all miss andrea. she was happy, energetic, and loving. she was always fun to chat with at family functions and truly cared about others. our thoughts and prayers are with her dear husband, kyle, and their three beautiful little girls, brooklyn, karalee, and katelyn.

*update*
an account has been started in andrea's name to raise money to help pay for medical bills, funeral expenses, and the cost of raising their three girls without their mother. if you would like to donate, just click here. it is much appreciated.

Lauren, this is such a sad situation. What a beautiful family. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's true, like you said, the only thing that's important is family and religion. It sure does put things in to perspective. Again, so sorry!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the Loss the families connected to Andrea are going through. I send my complete condolences and heartful prayer of comfort towards them. It is so true though, Family and Religion. Everything else is just temporary. Thank you for posting this. :)
