seriously.
that's why i haven't blogged or edited pictures or anything in forever. because i can't even open internet explorer without getting that annoying message. i can't do anything on my computer. it's frustrating. it's cam's old laptop from a few years back. and it's not just the memory. the battery is no good (it has to be plugged in constantly), the screen flashed green (which makes it super hard to edit pictures), and overall it's definitely seen better days. but good thing someone has a birthday coming up, right cam? ;)
i need a desktop. i mean, i guess i don't NEED one. it's not like i'm going to die without one. but i would LOVE one. so will everyone join with me in begging cameron to buy me one for my birthday? thanks.
let the begging begin...
no seriously, i have about 500 pictures i would love to start editing and i can't do a dang thing until we get a new computer. so if any of you are wondering if we had a good easter weekend and would like to see cute pictures of landon finding easter eggs...you know what to do...

i might as well copy and paste your post onto my blog... it sounds like my exact situation! My laptop (alex's old one) would crash at least 8 times a day because it hardly any space left on it. so i just put the pictures onto an external hard drive and then deleted them from my computer. it's still slow as ever but at least it doesnt crash anymore!
ReplyDeleteCam... a woman needs a good computer! I mean, she's at home all day being a mom and she needs the necessary tools to create and to discover the things that she loves!
(hope that begging helps!) :)
This sounds like us, one year ago. Chris' laptop had no battery life (hence the need to plug it in ALWAYS), and it would only SOMETIMES recognize that it could connect to the internet. We were super lucky to be gifted a desktop computer (hint hint) for Chris' graduation last April. It has been a lifesaver, and can hold TONS of memory so no worries about how many pictures I take. PLUS, editing is made easier with a mouse instead of your finger on a pad. These are just more reasons why, Cam, you need to be proactive about a certain woman's upcoming birthday gift.... :)
ReplyDeleteDon't buy anything apple without calling us to get the discount!! And happy early bday!
ReplyDeleteShe's an angry elf. Computers are just so expensive. Trust me, I would love to get rid of that hunk of junk.
ReplyDeleteAn Apple discount, Cam!
DeleteLauren, I love reading your blog. You really have a gift for writing. I can feel your personality while reading... and you are hilarious! So, get a new computer so I can be entertained with your blog. =)
